Brad brings the perspective of a Division I golfer, longtime professional player, Class A PGA member, and coach to AJGA champions, college golfers, and serious junior players.
Player background
Brad has competed at every step of the development path he now helps players navigate.
Brad grew up in the Chicago suburbs, playing both golf and basketball through high school. During his time in Chicago, he won both the Illinois Junior Amateur and Illinois Amateur Championships.
He earned a golf scholarship to Indiana University, where he was a three-time NCAA Academic All-American. After college, Brad played professionally for ten years on a variety of tours, winning 17 times in that span.
Coach background
Brad’s teaching is built for competitive players and families who want a smarter path forward.
In the fall of 2017, Brad turned his efforts toward teaching. One of his specialties is helping junior golfers prepare for college golf, and he co-founded Athlos College Coaching to help families navigate the recruiting process.
He earned his Class A PGA membership in 2019 and still plays around a dozen competitive events each year. Most notably, he made the cut at the 2021 PGA Championship, beating such notables as Dustin Johnson, Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas, Sergio Garcia, and Bubba Watson.
Teaching approach
Modern feedback, translated into simple priorities.
Brad’s teaching now incorporates GEARS 3D, Swing Catalyst force plates, and TrackMan to help diagnose the swing, clarify how the body and club are moving, understand how the player uses the ground, and connect technical changes to ball-flight results.
He spends time each year shadowing and learning from other top teachers in the industry, always working to improve his knowledge so his students can improve more efficiently.
